About Phil

Phil Ladisa

I was born and raised in Chicago, IL.  I have a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Theatre Arts.

When I was 13 years old, my father who had his own video business, brought me along to my first wedding event. My job was to take photographs and help my father set up video equipment. I learned quickly that the stress that I witnessed by my father was not from the lack of preparation, but from the fact that you only get one chance at this. This experience has helped me anticipate things that may go wrong and to always have a plan B, C, and D.

After many years of helping my father with weddings, while working full time in sales and marketing, I started my own business SoundMotion Films full time in 2010 producing live event and business videos for websites.  

My previous experience in sales and marketing has helped me develop new innovative ways of communicating using video storytelling.  This experience showed me that consulting, address needs, and following up with exceptional customer service will give me the best chance to earn repeat business year after year. 

Today I have worked with over 200 different companies to help increase their brand awareness and have a deep passion to help businesses grow in Minnesota!
